Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Cream butter and both sugars until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
  • Add the eggs one at a time and add vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Slowly add dry ingredients to the butter mixture. Mix until just combined. Add chocolate chips and mix until incorporated.
  • Use a 2-tablespoon scoop and place dough two inches apart.
  • Bake for 12 to 14 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
