Instructions
In a large bowl, mix together the ground pork, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, dried sage, dried thyme, and brown sugar until well combined.
Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty about 1/2 inch thick.
Place a large skillet on medium heat, adding a little oil if necessary.
Fry the patties for 3 to 5 minutes on both sides, or until browned and thoroughly cooked. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
