Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 ounces unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

  • Fold in the white chocolate chips.

  • Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are set. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
