- 1 pound fresh asparagus spears trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 clove garlic minced
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the asparagus spears to the skillet in a single layer, trying not to overcrowd them.
Season the asparagus with salt and pepper.
Cook the asparagus for about 3 minutes, then add the minced garlic to the skillet.
Continue to cook, turning the asparagus occasionally, until they are tender and lightly browned, about 7 more minutes.
Once done, remove from heat and transfer the asparagus to a serving dish.
Serve immediately while hot and enjoy!
