Instructions
Use a cookie cutter or the rim of a glass to cut a hole in the center of each slice of bread.
Spread butter on both sides of the bread slices and the cut-out centers.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the buttered bread and the cut-out centers in the skillet. Cook until the bread is golden brown.
Flip the bread and the cut-outs. Crack an egg into each hole in the bread. Season with salt and pepper.
Cover and cook another 2-4 minutes or until the eggs are cooked to your desired doneness.
