Instructions
In a large mug, mix the melted butter with the brown sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well combined. Mix in the egg yolk until smooth.
Stir in the all-purpose flour until the mixture is smooth. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Microwave on high for 45 seconds to 1 minute, or until the cookie has puffed up, appears set, and is no longer shiny.
Sprinkle some extra chocolate chips on top. Let it cool for a few minutes before enjoying. Optionally, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
