Ingredients
  

For the cake:

  • 1 stick butter at room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs separated
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups 16-ounces sour cream
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 teapoon baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

to assemble:

  • 1 bag chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Grab 3 little helpers. In the bowl of the mixer, whip the egg whites until they are stiff. Take out of the bowl and set aside. I really need another bowl for my mixer.

  • Add the rest of the cake batter, cinnamon sugar mixture, and chocolate chips.

  • Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 40 to 50 minutes. When the cake is done, a tester will come out clean. Cool on a cooling rack.
