Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Place the Boursin cheese in the middle of a 9x13-inch baking dish and scatter the tomatoes, onion, and garlic around the bottom. Nestle the Boursin cheese among the veggies.
Drizzle the olive oil over the pan and season with salt and pepper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
While the cheese is baking, boil the pasta according to package instructions, but reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water for the sauce. When ready, drain the pasta.
When the cheese mix is done baking, stir all ingredients in the baking dish together. Thin the mixture out with pasta water, small amounts at a time, until a sauce forms. Do not make it too watery.
Pour the pasta into the mix and stir to coat.
Plate served with fresh torn basil on top.
