This S’mores Bars Recipe is a no-bake treat that comes together in no time.

Today I’m sharing something so simple it’s basically foolproof. It’s the exact kind of recipe to keep in your back pocket when your kid needs to bring a treat to school but you don’t want the hassle or mess of whipping up a batch of cupcakes. All you need to do here is crush some cereal, melt a few ingredients in a pot, and press everything into a pan. It’s ideal for busy afternoons or weekends when you don’t have a ton of time to spare.
My kids have requested these bars again and again, which is the highest compliment. Kids are so often brutally honest, so hearing them rave about something I made is the ultimate satisfaction.
These s’mores bars have everything you love in a classic s’more: gooey marshmallows, buttery graham flavor, and melty chocolate. Only this time, you don’t have to haul all the ingredients out to a campfire or deal with sticky marshmallow dripping down your sleeves.

Have bar, will travel
Once cooled and cut into squares, these bars travel quite well. They’re great for tossing into a lunch box or stacking in a container. They can also withstand being out at room temperature, so you don’t have to worry about keeping them cool.
You can also cut the shapes to your liking. Maybe you like squares, or maybe you prefer more rectangular shapes in the spirit of a granola bar. You could even try cutting them in fun shapes; nothing’s stopping you!

How do I store leftovers?
Store extra s’mores bars in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days. Separate them with parchment or wax paper to prevent them from sticking together. If your kitchen is very warm, you can pop them in the fridge to keep the chocolate from getting too melty, but let them sit at room temperature for a bit before serving so they are easier to bite into.
