Your favorite breakfast staples, all in a single-dish casserole that’s so easy to make you might just get the chance to sleep in!

Casseroles took center stage in the American cuisine of the mid-20th century, starting as an elegant one-dish wonder to serve as both centerpiece and scrumptious entrée before devolving into the more casual meal we’re familiar with now. Casseroles (being just about any combination of food cooked together in an earthenware dish) are so flexible that you can use them to make wholly inclusive meals for any meal of the day – including breakfast!

That’s what we’re setting out to do with our hash brown breakfast casserole! Scrumptious sausage, a delicious dairy combo of whole milk and cheddar cheese, and a flavorful vegetable medley of bell peppers, onions, and beautifully browned potato hash come together to give you a breakfast platter all in a single dish! With a little bit of everything you’d want for breakfast, you can start the day off right (and with ease!)
