- 1 1/2 cups whole milk ricotta cheese
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Honey for drizzling
- Fresh thyme leaves for garnish
- Crackers or sliced baguette for serving
Place the ricotta cheese in a mixing bowl.
Add the olive oil, kosher salt, and black pepper to the bowl with the ricotta.
Using a hand mixer or a whisk, beat the mixture for 2 minutes until it becomes light and fluffy.
Transfer the whipped ricotta to a serving dish.
Drizzle honey over the whipped ricotta to taste.
Garnish with fresh thyme leaves.
Serve immediately with crackers or sliced baguette.
