Ingredients
  

  • 6 large apples peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour for topping
  • 1 1/4 cups rolled oats for topping
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar for topping
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon for topping
  • 1/2 cup vegan butter melted (for topping)

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix the diced apples with brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, salt, and lemon juice until well coated.
    Diced fresh apples in a glass bowl for baking or cooking recipes.
  • Transfer the apple mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading them out evenly.
    Diced peeled potatoes in a baking dish ready for roasting or making potato recipes.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the topping ingredients: flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Pour the melted vegan butter into the flour and oats mixture, and mix until crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the crumbly topping evenly over the apple mixture in the baking dish.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbly. Serve.
