Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of sea salt optional

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cornstarch, and cocoa powder. Whisk in the water.
    Rich cocoa powder and flour in a mixing bowl for baking.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.

  • Whisk in the butter. The sauce should be smooth and glossy. Take the pan off the heat and add the vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt, if desired.
  • Pour the sauce into a jar and use as desired.
