Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes 28 ounces
  • 1 can tomato sauce 15 ounces
  • 1 can tomato paste 6 ounces
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent.

  • Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
  • Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste.

  • Season with dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.

  • Add sugar and water, mixing well.
