Ingredients
  

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (15.25 ounces)
  • 1 can pumpkin purée (15 ounces) not pumpkin pie filling
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • whipped cream for serving, optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, pumpkin purée, eggs, vegetable oil, milk, and pumpkin pie spice.

  • Beat the mixture with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes until smooth.

  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
