Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.
In a medium saucepan, combine the butter, sugar, and milk.
Heat over medium heat, stirring often, until the butter melts and the mixture comes to a rolling boil.
Allow the mixture to boil for 1 minute without stirring.
Remove from heat. Stir in the peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth.
Add the quick-cooking oats and salt. Stir until well combined.
Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
Let the cookies cool at room temperature until set, about 30-60 minutes.
