  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 can sliced peaches in juice 15 ounces
  • Vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Pour the melted butter into a 9-inch square baking dish, ensuring it covers the entire bottom.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the buttermilk and stir until just combined.
