Ingredients
  

  • 5 beef burgers
  • Salt and pepper
  • Tomato and Feta Dip (see below)
  • Fresh basil
  • 5 Whole wheat pita
  • 1 Sabra Hummus I used plain

Tomato Feta Dip

  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • zest of one lemon
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon basil chopped
  • 3 Roma tomatoes seeded and diced
  • 4 green onions sliced thinly
  • 8 ounces feta cheese crumbled

Instructions
 

  • Season burgers with salt and pepper. Grill to your preferred temperature.
    Juicy grilled beef patties served on a white plate with a fork and knife. Perfectly cooked burgers ready to enjoy.
  • In a small bowl, combine garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, oregano, salt, pepper, and basil. Gently fold in tomatoes, green onion, and feta. Transfer to a bowl and garnish with more basil if desired.

  • Add burgers to pita, top with a generous helping of hummus, tomato and feta dip, and fresh basil.
