Ingredients
  

  • 3 pounds sweet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • Parsley finely chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Begin by peeling the sweet potatoes and cutting them into 1-inch chunks.

  • Boil a pot of water and cook the sweet potato chunks for about 20 minutes, or until they are tender when pierced with a fork.
