Once the oil is hot, place the chicken thighs skin-side down into the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes or until the skin is golden and crispy.
Flip the chicken thighs over and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F.
Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
