Ingredients
  

  • 4 Scotch bonnet peppers chopped
  • 1 small red onion chopped
  • 6 garlic cloves chopped
  • 4 stalks of scallions chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • Juice of one lime

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor.

  • Blend until the mixture is smooth or to your desired consistency.
    Spicy blended salsa in a blender bowl with herbs and spices, ready for cooking or serving.
  • Transfer the sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate. Use as needed.
