Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef 80/20
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 large tomato sliced
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices red onion
  • Ketchup, mustard, or other condiments as desired

Instructions
 

  • Prepare your grill or skillet to medium heat.
  • Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty that's slightly larger than your buns.

  • Season both sides of each patty generously with salt and black pepper.
  • Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side for medium doneness.
