  • 4 cups corn kernels fresh or frozen, thawed

  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cups whole milk
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 4 minutes.
