Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 10.5-ounce cans condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 1/3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 32-ounce package frozen Tater Tots
  • Green onions chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil. Add the onion and cook until softened, then add the garlic and cook 1 more minute. Remove from the heat.

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the sour cream, cream of chicken soup, milk, cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning mix, salt, and pepper. Stir in the shredded chicken, onion, and garlic.
