While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shallot and cook until softened; add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sautéed kale. Toss gently to mix. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice and grated Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper.
